You probably hear this all the time, but I'm amazed when artists can distort a portrait so effectively and still maintain a great likeness. Great stuff.
Amazing work! The texture you have in the painting, the way you can feel those wrinkles is amazing!!! Beautiful work! Thanks for the comments on the blog, sorry I could not have a larger image, it was for a gallery and they took the photo of the painting! Great work again!!!
Hi Dominic! I visited your blog several times, and I must say that I love and I am surprised more and more, so I've decided to put your link on my blog. Greetings from Spain!
Hey, i didn't know Kruger posted here! seriously, great stuff. i suppose it's inevitable to be compared to Kruger when caricaturing a stone(even if i'm the first to do it here),i will say you're holding your own. (btw, have you seen his gigantic new painting)
anyway, the level of detail sure is something. can't wait to see a final.
Finish works equally great, nice rendering!

M'sieur Philibert, serait-il indiscret de ma part que de vous demander en combien de temps et de calques réalisez vous une pièce comme celle-ci?
ReplyDeleteBien à vous.
