I had my wisdom teeth removed in the army. It's not so bad, except you can't eat anything except yoghurt. And the dentist left a bit of tooth in there. Not attached, just like a sliver of bone that had snapped off some dinner and lodged itself in my gums. Cheap army dentists.
that must be a common thing, the detached bone. it'll work its way out (and make your breath smell like the living dead) sooner or later. just dont go sucking on a milkshake or smoking or something and get a dry socket. thats pain the likes of which quentin tarentino cant imagine.
Well, its better than gum surgery if thats any consolation :) I had three removed and one was impacted. The other two were out in minutes, but the impacted one required a chisel, and rather huge pair of pliers not to mention the power grinding tools. If none are impacted, it should not be too bad. May the tooth fairy be by your side . . .:)
Oh man, I remember I had the same thing done in High School. All four... nothing like waking up and not being able to talk! Hope you recover fast!
Yeah, Wizard World is a comic book convention in Chicago. I've heard of the FanExpo in Canada, was thinking of doing it this year, too much on my plate right now. Definitely gonna do it next year.
